Thiess Kentz as sub-contractor to Sinclair knights Merz (SKM) is proud to announce the award of electrical works at the West Pilbara Power Project - Horizon Power in Karratha, Western Australia. The extension of the current functional switchyard includes the interface of interconnection asset of the West Pilbara Station (WPPS) to the Karratha Terminal Substation (KTS). Thiess Kentz's project Manager Greg Davis will lead the project with work due to commence in early March 2009 and will be completed by October 2009. The scope of work incorporates: - installation of an additional bay of aerial conductors and 132kV primary equipment
- 132kV 3-phase buried 630mm2 single core power cable circuits and 132kV protection racks
- other secondary equipment
